Ms. Kelly Knott is currently serving as Senior Director of Government Relations for the National Retail Federation (NRF). In this role, Ms. Knott serves as the main conduit for NRF with the United States Congress for a multitude of issues that directly affect the retail industry. Ms. Knott’s main areas of responsibility are the issues of Labor, Human Resources, and Immigration, as well as serving a direct liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Previously, Ms. Knott worked in a similar capacity at the Associated General Contractors (AGC), in the Government Relations practice of the J.C. Penney Co. Inc., for a well-respected federal lobbying firm, Jefferson Government Relations, and began her career first serving as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Mel Hancock (R-MO).
Ms. Knott holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. She is also a graduate of Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, where she graduated with honors. Ms. Knott and her husband Stewart live with their three children in Alexandria, Virginia. |
